Very popular in the 17th century ice slides built with a height of approximately between 20 and 24 meters, had the inclination, approximately fifty degrees and was reinforced by wooden supports. “Roller coaster” still replace the name “roller coaster” in many languages of the world.

Some historians claim that the first roller coaster was built by order of the Queen of Russia, Catherine the great in Saint Petersburg in 1784.
